PHOTO RELEASE: Prime Minister John Key Visits NZ Firm in Philippines Helping to Rebuild Christchurch
MANILA, PHILIPPINES (20 November 2015) – Today New Zealand Prime Minister John Key visited the Manila office of Steel Pencil, a New Zealand construction modeling company. Steel Pencil’s Manila office is helping rebuild Christchurch – including the Christchurch Transitional Cathedral and Burwood Hospital – following 2011’s devastating earthquake. The Prime Minister, who was in Manila for APEC, was able to see firsthand how Steel Pencil’s innovative business model is benefitting the economies of both New Zealand and the Philippines under the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Frameworks.
