Dairy co-operative Fonterra expects spending around $300 million boosting its Darfield plant including installing a second milk-powder dryer. It would enable the Canterbury site to process an extra 4.4 million litres of milk a day. The Darfield site will supply milk powder to markets such as the Middle East, Southeast Asia and China.

Steel Pencil were contracted to this job by Pacific Drafting who were supplying the shop drawings for the structural steel. The structural model was supplied to Steel Pencil through which we were able to detail our panels to ensure all relevant items lined up.
